Our story

Built out of frustration.

Launchpad Apps started with a simple observation: we were spending hours every day on websites we hadn't consciously chosen to visit. One click to "quickly check Twitter" turned into 40 minutes of scrolling. A news headline led to a two-hour rabbit hole. Sound familiar?

"I wanted to know honestly how I was using my time online — not the version I told myself, but the real one. So I built it."

That first internal tool became AI Behavior Mirror — an extension that shows you exactly how you browse, without judgment, and with enough data to actually change your habits. The response from early users was immediate: this is uncomfortable, and I need it.

FlowGuard came next, born from a simple insight: willpower is a finite resource, but automatic rules are not. By combining a Pomodoro timer with automatic site blocking, FlowGuard removes the decision entirely. You start a session, and the distractions simply disappear.

We're just getting started. Our roadmap is full of ideas for tools that help people understand and improve how they work, learn, and live online — all without compromising their privacy.
